Linux Administrator

We are looking for multiple Red Hat / Linux Administrators to join a team supporting day-to-day engineering infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Run & Maintenance (BAU):

• Maintain and optimise engineering systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation
• Support project delivery (design, planning, testing, rollout)

Operational Support & Ticketing: 

• Manage incidents and service requests in an ITIL-based environment
• Collaborate with multiple IT teams and stakeholders

Engineering Support:

• Support hardware and software lifecycle management
• Provide technical guidance to engineering programmes

Infrastructure Implementation:

• May require design, provision, install, configure, and maintain infrastructure services
• May ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Core skills:

• Strong experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL)
• Knowledge of Ansible
• Excellent communication
• Documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in Government is a plus
• Must be willing to go through SC security clearance

Location: 3 days mandatory onsite in Stevenage, otherwise Portsmouth
