Job Description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing the presence of Swedish Orphan Biovitrum Srl in the assigned geographic area (Puglia and Campania), build and maintain relationship with customers. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client, assure a successful launch of new products ore indications on field, sustain haemophilia products sales and promotion and collaborate with all others company departments (i.e. Market Access and Medical) to guarantee the correct implementation of all territorial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor the assigned territory for the use of products and any adverse events reported by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with current pharmacovigilance and regulatory requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Business Unit Director/National Sales Manager and Marketing team, define local activities and action plans necessary to achieve business objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Deliver scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals according to the agreed plan, ensuring alignment with company strategy, policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area through participation in meetings, training programs, scientific congresses, and self-directed learning.
  • Organize and plan daily activities, including customer visits, travel itineraries, and meetings, and provide regular updates and reports to the National Sales Manager using the available CRM and reporting tools.
  • Apply and respect legislative and company requirements concerning drug scientific information, drug safety and ethical code. Escalate any issues or concerns to the appropriate manager in a timely manner.
  • Participate in National Congresses both independently and alongside healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with local stakeholders through strategic engagement plans and targeted activities.
  • CRM system activities reporting as per planned deadlines along the year/cycles.

KAM must work and deliver each single action in strictly accordance with SOBI Policies, procedures and in compliance with the Italian law (219 law art. 119-126 and Farmindustria code)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Kam position
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences); advanced scientific qualifications are an advantage.
  • Fluent English communication skills (minimum B1–B2 level, both written and spoken).
  • Experience or strong knowledge of Hematology and/or Rare Diseases is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience using CRM systems.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and scientific exchange skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional and multicultural teams.

For this position, we are offering: 

  • Permanent employment contract
  • Full-time (39 hours per week)
  • The salary range for this role is €55,000 to €85,000 gross per year, depending on the candidate’s level of experience, seniority, and demonstrated competencies.
