Known for high-quality execution, they are actively building out a remote operational and pre-construction support division to fuel their growth. The company operates with a collaborative, relational approach, and this new division will focus on scaling project volume and eliminating gaps in their construction pipeline.
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive, dual-focused Remote Construction Estimator & Lead Generator to join the team as a dedicated, full-time asset. In this role, you will own the front-end bidding pipeline—from actively scouting and filtering new project opportunities to executing precise multi-trade quantity takeoffs. This is a highly autonomous, high-impact position where your hustle and administrative organization will directly keep the field crews deployed and enable the company to aggressively scale its daily bid volume. You will work closely with ownership to review leads and manage backend operations, allowing leadership to focus on building local client relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Actively navigate and search the ConstructConnect platform to identify, source, and secure new bidding and project opportunities.
Strategic Filtering: Screen and evaluate incoming projects based on specific timelines, prioritizing bids with closer due dates to keep the field crew consistently deployed without gaps between projects.
Pre-Construction Collaboration: Qualify and present discovered leads to ownership for strategic approval before deep-diving into full cost estimations.
Quantity Takeoffs & Bid Preparation: Perform comprehensive, accurate quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates across multiple interior and exterior trades.
Administrative Organization: Maintain and organize a centralized tracking system (via Google Sheets) to monitor all submitted bids, upcoming deadlines, and client touchpoints.
Project Workflow Support: Manage day-to-day project workflows, including handling Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, revisions, vendor outreach, and subcontractor coordination.
CRM & Follow-up Coordination: Act as an administrative partner to track and prompt ownership on when to follow up, call, or visit prospective general contractors in person.

Requirements
Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related construction/engineering field.
2–3 years of early-career estimating experience working on US-based construction projects, with specific exposure to multi-trade estimation (painting, flooring, drywall, framing).
Direct, hands-on experience navigating ConstructConnect to actively source and identify new leads (not just viewing pre-assigned plans).
Proven track record as a high-volume estimator who thrives in an aggressive, continuous bidding environment without sacrificing accuracy.
High competency in data management and organization utilizing Google Sheets or MS Excel.
Complete fluency in English (both written and verbal) with the professional communication skills necessary to handle subcontractor coordination and vendor outreach.
Availability to work dedicated full-time hours matching the 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST business window.
