Job Description
We are seeking a Barista in Orlando, FL to prepare high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while delivering fast, friendly, and exceptional customer service. This Barista role is now hiring and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a guest‑facing café environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers. As a key member of the Food & Beverage team, you will prepare beverages using established recipes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Provide fast, friendly, and personalized service to all customers.
- Receive and call back customer orders clearly and accurately.
- Educate customers on coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and café offerings.
- Answer phone calls courteously, including directions, orders, and inquiries.
- Perform accurate cash handling and operate the register properly.
- Prepare and serve hot, blended, and iced beverages following recipes and standards.
- Serve baked goods and other café items as needed.
- Answer product questions and maintain knowledge of blends, flavors, and freshness.
- Resolve minor customer concerns; escalate larger issues to management.
- Restock retail and café items as needed to maintain inventory flow.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bar area and workspace.
- Take out trash according to policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, barista, or related food-handling experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Food Handlers Certification required within 30 days of hire and must remain current.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver attentive guest service.
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Capable of handling guest concerns professionally and proactively.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
