About the Opportunity:
AnthroMed Education is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our school partner in Reading, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a unique opportunity that can be tailored to your preferences including elementary, middle, and high school settings. Location: Reading, PA
Duration: August 17 - June 4
Hours: Full-Time | 7:30AM-3PM
Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annualized salary
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech-language therapy services
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with families, special education teams, and support staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team planning
Caseload Details:
- Caseloads range from 55–65 students
- Blended caseload, autistic support classrooms & speech-only student
- SLPs should expect to support speech-only students and students with more complex communication disorders (i.e. Autism, low-incidence disabilities)
- Familiarity with AAC is beneficial, but not required
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP License
- Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
