Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong system and software testing experience in the automotive domain. The role involves designing and executing automated and manual tests, developing test tools, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and AI-driven test tools.Implement and manage continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Review system and software requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.Execute system and software tests in HiL/SiL environments.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, assess impact, and support root-cause analysis.
- Prepare, update, and maintain clear and accurate test reports and documentation.Collaborate with requirements engineers and development teams to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Participate in requirement, design, and test reviews, providing quality and risk-based inputs.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in automotive system and software testing.
- Hands-on experience with HiL/SiL test frameworks (manual and automated).
- Proficiency in diagnostics , CAN, CAN FD, and LIN protocols and Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer).Solid understanding of test strategies, test design techniques, and test execution.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python with a minimum of 3 years of experience.Exposure to AI-based tools, including Copilot.
- Experience in both manual testing and Python-based automation is highly preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field
Additional Information
8+ years, and 3–8 years of experience in system and software testing.Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tool development.
