As a Custodian at Lightcast, you will be a valuable member of our facility management team, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment. This role is ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of custodial experience who take pride in their work and are dedicated to ensuring a pleasant, professional, and well-maintained workspace for employees and visitors. You'll work independently while supporting the day-to-day operations of our Moscow headquarters through consistent cleaning, maintenance support, and facility upkeep.
### Major Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, breakrooms including kitchen area (fridges, dishwashers, microwave), conference rooms, and restrooms
Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables
Monitor and replenish cleaning and kitchen (napkins, utensils, plates, paper product) supplies
Report and assist with minor facility maintenance issues
Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, secure, and hazard-free workplace
Support exterior upkeep, including snow removal and basic weed maintenance as needed
Complete assigned duties reliably and help maintain a professional, business-ready environment
### Education and Experience
1–2 years of custodial experience, preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
Experience with general cleaning, furniture cleaning, mopping, waste disposal, and sanitization
Ability to support snow removal, basic weed maintenance as needed, and regularly lift 50+ lbs.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic
Ability to take direction and work independently
Ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
