As a Concierge at Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you will be the ultimate source of local knowledge and assistance for our guests, providing them with a personalized and memorable experience. Your role is to engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure their requests are executed with the utmost professionalism and care. Whether it’s securing hard-to-get reservations, arranging transportation, or providing detailed information about local attractions, you will be integral in enhancing the overall guest experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional concierge services by providing personalized recommendations and responding promptly to guest inquiries.
  • Efficiently manage guest check-ins and check-outs, consistently conveying warmth, professionalism, and hospitality.
  • Coordinate and manage reservations for dining, local attractions, transportation, and exclusive experiences to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities, local events, and prominent attractions in Athens.
  • Attend to special guest requests with urgency and courtesy, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
  • Establish rapport with guests during arrival and departure, actively soliciting feedback to continuously improve service quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Concierge and team members to streamline concierge operations and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Stay well-informed of local events, festivals, and cultural happenings to offer timely and relevant information to guests.
  • Oversee inventory management of brochures, tickets, and other guest resources to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Uphold Hilton and hotel operational standards, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a concierge or customer service role within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Athens and its offerings, including restaurants, attractions, and transportation options.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in Greek and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage guest requests efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with guests and foster positive relationships.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Basic technology skills, familiar with hotel reservation systems and concierge platforms.
