Stairlift Installation Trainee at Birmingham Stannah– Sales and Installations - Join Our Team!

Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Stairlift Installation Trainee to join the Operations department based in Birmingham.

This job will involve assisting the lead Installation Engineer with the safe and efficient installation and removal of stairlifts within customers’ homes, ensuring all work meets manufacturer, customer, and company standards.

As the Stairlift Installation Trainee you will work 39 hours a week Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16.30. This job is a permanent contract.

To be successful as the Stairlift Installation Trainee, it is essential that you have previous experience in using basic hand tools and an understanding of health and safety practices. Experience in mechanical and electrical work would be highly desirable.

Stairlift Installation Trainee Responsibilities:

• Assisting with installing and removing stairlifts in customers’ homes
• Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment from the depot to site
• Supporting the lead engineer to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Completing administrative tasks including electronic forms, emails, and timesheets
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer care at all times

Qualifications

Stairlift Installation Trainee Requirements:

• Basic understanding of health and safety requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
