We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Agadir-Ida-Outanane, Morocco. - Initiate and maintain strategic relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular field visits, sales calls, and virtual consultations to understand their needs and position tailored solutions
- Deliver comprehensive product information and technical expertise to customers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our offerings and their applications in real-world scenarios
- Develop and execute annual trial and demonstration plans to showcase new products and solutions that align with customer requirements and market opportunities
- Provide innovative technical solutions to complex customer challenges while maintaining transparent communication with internal product and technical teams
- Develop and implement strategic sales action plans to achieve annual sales targets, revenue goals, and margin objectives while maintaining detailed records and forecasts
- Conduct approximately 70% of your time in field-based activities within your assigned territory, building relationships and identifying growth opportunities
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations and support business development initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product specialists, engineers, and customer success to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful project outcomes
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate value propositions to diverse customer audiences
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent professional experience demonstrating technical competency
- Proven sales experience with a demonstrated track record of implementing market development plans and achieving profitable growth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Technical product knowledge and crop/solution management expertise relevant to your industry sector
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, budget management, and financial analysis
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors and in various environmental conditions as required by the role
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Established experience within the agricultural, horticultural, or technical sales industry with demonstrated customer relationships
- Knowledge of the Moroccan market, regional agricultural practices, or local business customs
- Experience with territory management and business development in emerging or developing markets
- Certification or advanced training in sales methodologies, technical product training, or industry-specific credentials
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly fluency in French and/or Arabic alongside English
- Experience using data analytics tools to inform sales strategies and customer insights
- Proven ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities while managing existing accounts
