THIS ROLE
The primary technical expert responsible for ensuring excellence in complex fund accounting services
through expertise and final review authority. This role serves as the ultimate subject matter expert for
the team on complex accounting matters, leading technical decisions and process innovations while
providing authoritative guidance on sophisticated client portfolios and advanced accounting modules.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You’ll serve as the team’s technical authority, providing final review and sign-off on complex accounting deliverables while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- You’ll drive technical excellence by developing standards, methodologies, and best practices, while staying updated on new regulations and ensuring their application within the team.
- You’ll oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor communications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements.
- You’ll lead and support team development through coaching, training, and feedback, while managing workload planning, resolving review comments, and ensuring timely delivery.
- You’ll act as a key liaison for clients and stakeholders, addressing complex issues, coordinating deliverables, documenting exceptions, and driving continuous improvement and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA (or equivalent) preferred, and at least 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in corporate accounting.
- You have deep expertise in complex accounting areas such as consolidation, foreign currency transactions, and advanced revenue recognition, with strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and statutory requirements.
- You are an authority in reviewing and approving high-level accounting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to technical standards.
- You have a proven track record in developing technical standards, driving process improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support team development while maintaining high-quality standards.
