Salary: £125,000 – £150,000 + Bonus + Car/Allowance

With multiple depots and a reputation for exceptional delivery performance, the company has scaled rapidly to £50m turnover and is now targeting £100m by 2030. What’s the role about?

As Operations Director, you will take full ownership of end-to-end operations across warehousing, logistics, transport, and production/assembly. Key areas of focus include:

  • Building a scalable operational platform to support significant growth
  • Leading major transformation projects including WMS implementation
  • Optimising depot network efficiency across multiple UK locations
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Embedding data-driven decision making and technology adoption

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all operational functions across warehousing, logistics, transport, and production across 3 distribution centres
  • Develop and deliver a scalable operational strategy aligned to growth targets
  • Implement systems and infrastructure improvements, including WMS and automation
  • Optimise transport networks and depot performance across multiple sites
  • Drive KPI performance including DIFOT, cost efficiency, and customer experience
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing operational teams
  • Deliver strategic projects on time and within budget
