Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Field Project Specialist to support the successful delivery of large-scale Water/Wastewater Infrastructure projects in Winnipeg. In this role, you'll provide project coordination, document control, logistics, and administrative support to multidisciplinary project teams, helping keep complex projects on track from planning through execution.
This full-time position is based at a Winnipeg construction site office and is ideal for an administrator or project coordinator looking to grow their project management experience while working on impactful infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include:
Project Support:
- Assist project managers in tracking project progress and milestones.
- Prepare and distribute project reports and updates.
- Coordinate project meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and manage logistics for project-related activities, including meetings, site visits, and events.
- Scheduling and booking project meetings to ensure effective communication and record keeping.
- Maintaining the day-to-day functionality and readiness of the site office and work environment.
Document Control:
- Maintain and organize project documentation for multiple projects, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
- Ensure compliance with document control standards and procedures.
- Track and manage document revisions and approvals.
Travel Coordination:
- Arrange travel accommodations for project team members, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Coordinate travel schedules and resolve any travel-related issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with 2 years of project coordination/administration experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
- or Diploma/Certificate and 4 years of demonstrated equivalency and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in document control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
