Position Overview
We are seeking a professional with a strong analytical, technological, and business focus to support digital transformation initiatives across multiple plants in Mexico and potentially North America.
Although the position is within Human Resources, it works across departments such as Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and other functions, providing support through data analysis, automation, application development, AI solutions, and process optimization.
The role centers on the intersection of operations and technology, requiring an individual capable of understanding business challenges, collaborating with diverse departments, and developing practical and scalable digital solutions.
We need a highly responsible, adaptable, and analytically minded individual who can translate business needs into tools and systems that generate measurable impact.
What you'll do
- Support multiple manufacturing sites through development of digital tools, dashboards, operational reporting systems, and automation solutions.
- Partner with HR, Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities and business needs.
- Design, build, and maintain low-code/no-code applications for operational and business processes.
- Develop standardized KPI tracking, reporting, and visibility systems across departments and locations.
- Automate manual workflows and recurring reporting activities.
- Analyze operational and workforce data to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support regional initiatives related to digital transformation, operational excellence, analytics, and AI adoption.
- Create scalable and replicable digital solutions that can be deployed across multiple sites.
- Provide technical support, training, and continuous improvement for deployed applications and reporting systems.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to rapidly deploy practical solutions to operational challenges.
- Support business decision-making through data visualization, analytics, and AI-assisted insights.
Who you are
- Required education: completed degree in related field (computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, IT, systems engineering, data analytics, industrial engineering with digital/automation background or related technical or engineering fields)
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Multi-site or regional support experience
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives
- Experience in creating operational applications and reporting systems
- Experience implementing automation solutions
- Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows and productivity tools
- Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement exposure
- Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
