Job Description
We’re looking for a data driven, commercially minded Digital Trading Manager to join the Topshop & Topman team and help shape the next chapter of our global trading strategy. As Digital Trading Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving performance across Topshop.com, with a strong focus on optimising onsite conversion and customer journey through data-led insight and trading actions.
This is a high-impact role reporting into (Lucy A future title), and working closely with Product, Marketing, and Performance & Insights teams. You’ll lead the development and execution of trading strategies across multiple markets, ensuring we’re responding to customer behaviour with agility, insight, and innovation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Forecast, monitor and deep-dive KPIs (conversion, product views, exit rates, funnel metrics), translating insight into clear trading actions.
- Identify and execute trading opportunities to improve performance, prioritising high-impact actions.
- Own and drive onsite conversion performance, identifying friction points across the customer journey and implementing improvements across navigation, merchandising and content.
- Lead A/B testing and experimentation to optimise key onsite elements (landing pages, navigation, product ranking, promotional messaging).
- Optimise the proposition by market, using customer and competitor insight to drive relevance and conversion.
- Deliver pricing and promotional strategies to support commercial performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to align onsite activity with traffic-driving campaigns.
- Line manage and develop a team of 2, ensuring strong execution and prioritisation.

Qualifications
About You:
You bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and leadership experience, with a proven track record in international ecommerce, ideally within fashion. You thrive in fast-paced environments, combining curiosity, agility, and a hands-on approach with the ability to coach and inspire others.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting data and translating insight into clear actions.
- Proven track record of owning and improving ecommerce conversion through onsite optimisation and trading actions.
- Experience working with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms, with a strong understanding of onsite merchandising tools.
- Experience running tests and experiments to improve onsite performance.
- Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and prioritise high-impact actions.
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions.
- Clear and concise communicator, able to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
