As an Applied AI Engineer, you will translate complex business processes into autonomous AI agent logic, enabling intelligent automation across enterprise operations. 

You will work closely with customers, product teams, and AI platform engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI agents that optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role combines technical development, process understanding, and applied AI design. 

AI Agent Design & Development 

• Translate business processes into autonomous AI agent workflows and decision logic. 

• Configure and develop agents that can interact with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Procurement, Logistics). 

• Develop and test AI agent behaviors using scripting and platform tools. 

• Collaborate with AI engineers to enhance agent performance, learning, and adaptability. 

Process Understanding & Translation 

• Work with SMEs and implementation teams to map processes into logical steps suitable for AI orchestration. 

• Ensure agent-driven workflows align with business rules, data models, and operational KPIs. 

• Maintain clear documentation for agent configuration, deployment, and iteration. 

Cross-functional Collaboration 

• Partner with Implementation & Sustaining Engineering to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of AI agents in production. 

• Support Product and Platform teams by providing feedback and insights from real-world deployments. 

• Participate in customer engagements to validate use cases and support adoption. 

Qualifications

• Exposure to the four domains is preferred: Supply Chain, Asset Management, Procurement and FSM

• Software development or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, or equivalent). 

• Strong understanding of enterprise application integration and data flow management. 

• Exposure to AI frameworks, APIs, or agent orchestration tools is advantageous. 

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical logic. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset.
