General Accountant

Job Description:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with external auditors when required
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor expenses and assist in cost control activities

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience as a General Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, or Zoho
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations, including VAT and income tax
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax filing procedures is a plus
