This Global Process Owner, Record to Report position in United States is designed for a visionary leader who possesses deep expertise in end-to-end Record-to-Report processes and a proven ability to standardize, govern, and continuously improve financial operations across a global shared services or Global Business Services environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the global process owner and strategic authority for all Record-to-Report activities, including financial close, general ledger management, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and external financial reporting.
  • Define, document, and enforce global process standards, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and best-in-class execution across all business units and geographies.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and executive leadership to drive end-to-end process transformation initiatives, leveraging Oracle ERP capabilities to maximize automation and efficiency.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure process health, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement across the Record-to-Report cycle.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals within a Shared Services or Global Business Services model, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Champion process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and enhance the quality and accuracy of financial reporting across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure that all Record-to-Report processes adhere to applicable regulatory requirements, internal controls, and industry standards.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and system implementation projects by providing subject matter expertise in Record-to-Report design, data migration, and process harmonization activities.
