Job Description
Hyde Melbourne Place is looking for an Assistant People & Culture Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who is confident, knows how to work in a diverse environment, and brings positive energy every day.
You will manage day-to-day operations and work closely with our leaders in delivering support across all departments. Key drivers will be people management practices, ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, and lead learning and development programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support senior leaders and managers with matters that impact our employee’s wellbeing, employment, and performance;
- Provide guidance on how to best manage disciplinary processes and conflict resolution;
- Manage all things related to recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes;
- Assist the Director of People & Culture with workforce planning and staffing requirements;
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs to enhance the employee experience;
- Provide WH&S support and oversee workplace injuries, such as coordinating return to work plans;
- Act as a culture ambassador, bringing positive energy and promoting inclusivity in everything you do.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in a senior Human Resources role within a hotel environment;
- Strong knowledge on employment legislations, particularly HIGA 2020;
- Great leadership and people management skills;
- A passion for people and ensuring their wellbeing is top priority;
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
