We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Talent Acquisition to join Syska our Jacksonville, FL office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build rapport with a variety of professionals at all levels and develop alliances to work together towards common goals. This role will require the ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced work environment.
Job Responsibilities
The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and develop a high performing US recruitment function, driving the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of talent acquisition across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains top-tier talent aligned with business goals, culture, and growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develops and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce planning needs.
- Partners with executive leadership to forecast hiring demand and builds proactive talent pipelines.
- Positions the organization as an employer of choice through strong employer branding initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of recruiters and TA professionals across regions.
- Establishes clear performance metrics, accountability frameworks, and career development pathways.
- Fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Talent Acquisition Operations
- Oversees end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and a high-quality candidate experience.
- Implements best-in-class sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, and digital channels across both experienced hire and associate programmes.
- Optimizes recruitment technologies, ATS, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
Stakeholder Management
- Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers
- Collaborates closely with HR business partners, and hiring managers
- Influences hiring decisions through data-driven insights and market intelligence
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Strengthen employer value proposition (EVP) and recruitment marketing strategies
- Ensures a seamless, engaging, and positive candidate journey
- Leverages social media, events, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility
Metrics & Reporting
- Defines and tracks key recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity metrics, etc.)
- Uses data and analytics to continuously improve hiring outcomes
- Provides regular insights and reporting to executive leadership
Job Requirements

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles
- Experience in engineering, Critical Facilities a big plus
- Proven track record of delivering highly effective TA functions
