Registered Dietitian (Outpatient & Float)
As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients. You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring on-going medical conditions, and through collaboration with the other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will work directly with patients and their families providing support and nutritional education. This role provides the opportunity to work with both adolescent and adult clients.
In addition to maintaining an outpatient caseload, the RD serves as a Float Registered Dietitian, providing coverage and support to locations throughout Washington as needed. The float component of this role helps ensure continuity of care when team members are utilizing PTO, on vacation, leave of absence, out due to illness, or otherwise unavailable. The primary float responsibility for this position is providing onsite coverage at our Spokane location; onsite presence in Spokane is an essential part of the role. Float coverage includes providing program support for groups and meals onsite in Spokane, as well as supporting virtual programs across Washington. Coverage may also include individual nutrition sessions with clients participating in intensive programming. Virtual float coverage will be provided as needed to ensure continuity of care across programs when supporting staffing needs.
Compensation
- $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position. Should your position change, pay will be evaluated.
Schedule
Full Time Position - 32 hours/week. Schedule varies based on program needs
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Additional hours as needed based on program requirements
- Latest expected end time: 6:00 PM
How Registered Dietitians Empower Recovery
- Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standard
- Provides individualized nutrition therapy to all assigned patients.
- Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
- Supports plating and provides active meal coaching/support for clients in Therapeutic Supported Meals as assigned.
- Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
- Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
- Documents all nutrition care in a clear, concise, and professional manner using the EHR, in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dietitian license in the state of employment required.
- Current board certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required
- Master’s Degree required. Unless licensed prior to January 2024.
Additional Qualifications
- DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred.
- Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred
- Computer proficiency required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
