Role & Mission
As Strategy Analyst, you will work directly alongside Alta Ares' Director of Strategy to support the company's most important strategic decisions — from market positioning and competitive intelligence to fundraising preparation and institutional partnerships.
This is a high-exposure, high-output role. You will produce the analyses, frameworks, and documents that land on the CEO's desk and in front of investors and government partners. You will be expected to think rigorously, move fast, and communicate with clarity — in a company where the stakes are real and the pace is unrelenting.
If you come from strategy consulting or a defence policy background and want to apply that rigour to one of Europe's most ambitious deeptech companies, this role is for you.

Map competitive positioning across the global defence AI and autonomous systems ecosystem — Anduril, Palantir, Helsing, Shield AI, and emerging European players

Conduct research on potential investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and defence-focused VCs
Prepare briefing notes ahead of investor meetings and track follow-up commitments
Assist in responding to investor due diligence requests with structured, well-sourced analysis
