Job Description
- Conduct analytical methods to support analysis, monitoring and characterization of samples used in developing and scaling processes for biological therapeutic treatments
- Perform quantification and characterization methods including UPLC/HPLC, iCE, CE, and N-glycan analyses to be applied against proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates
- Prepare buffers and solutions, maintain laboratory space and equipment, and support routine lab operations as required.
- Maintain written records (electronic lab notebooks and databases) of all experimental work in accordance with Good Documentation Practices
- Analyze, summarize, and present experimental data and maintain accurate records in client-provided electronic lab notebooks (ELNs).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners, proactively communicating issue, discussing prioritization, and seeking guidance when needed.
- Stay flexible and open to learning new techniques and technologies as project needs evolve.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, collaborative laboratory conducting protein characterization methods such as chromatographic, spectroscopic and other detection techniques
- Demonstrated experience on Agilent systems and with a working knowledge of Empower software to perform capture and data analysis
- The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, good lab safety awareness and effective oral and written communication skills
- Applicants should be self-motivated, organized, capable of working independently, and in a collaborative environment
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or similar scientific discipline
- Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Bothell, WA are encouraged to apply.
- Compensation: $63,000-75,000/year
