Position Overview

We are seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to backfill a key role focused on High Voltage (48V to 1500V) connector design and validation, fully on-site in Mossville, IL. You will hold cradle-to-grave part responsibility, working and leading within a small team environment. You will gather requirements from internal clients and collaborate with prospective suppliers to obtain technical proposals, quotes, and lead times.

This work is strategic in nature, supporting future generations of EV technology products. The role offers a strong path toward subject matter expertise that can carry you forward into future career growth.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities

• Own High Voltage (48V to 1500V) connector design and validation from concept through end of life (cradle-to-grave responsibility).
• Gather technical requirements from internal clients to inform connector design and sourcing decisions.
• Work with prospective suppliers to obtain technical proposals, quotes, and lead times.
• Lead project activities and collaborate closely with team members to achieve project objectives.

Team Structure & Work Environment

• You will work within a small, collaborative team consisting of one Team Leader and one other teammate, with daily and frequent interaction to achieve shared project objectives.
• This is a fully on-site role in Mossville, IL. PPE (steel-toed shoes) is required.

Education & Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience with a four-year degree; a two-year degree will be considered with 9+ years of relevant experience. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering required.
• Comparable backgrounds include High Voltage Connectors or EV Battery experience.
