This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the Central Engineering Department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.
In addition to the responsibilities below, the Systems Integrator II executes EPMS, SCADA, and infrastructure projects with an emphasis on Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME), Ignition SCADA, Power SCADA Operation (PSO), and EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) platforms while collaborating with Albireo Central Engineering to deliver reliable monitoring, control, reporting, and visualization solutions for mission critical facilities and data centers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Design, configure, commission, and troubleshoot Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME) 2022 and PME 2024 systems.
- Design, configure, and maintain Ignition SCADA applications including graphics, alarming, reporting, scripting, UDT development, and database connectivity.
- Support and maintain Schneider Electric Power SCADA Operation (PSO) systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server environments supporting EPMS and SCADA applications.
- Support Hyper-V virtual machine environments and failover cluster infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain SQL databases utilized by PME, Ignition, and PSO platforms.
- Support Synology NAS platforms utilized for storage, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Configure and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication and Synology Active Backup solutions.
- Support Cisco networking infrastructure including Catalyst 9300, Catalyst 9200, and Cisco Business 1300 switches.
- Perform system integrations utilizing Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, OPC-UA, SNMP, Ethernet, and other industrial communication protocols.
- Activities such as installation, commissioning, upgrades, troubleshooting, and site investigations.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities as required.
- Preparation of proposals and review of plans and specifications.
- Meeting and presentations to customers, internal and external.
- Preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
Requirements
- PLC programming utilizing IEC-61131 languages
- HMI/SCADA design and programming
- Electrical schematic design for control systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with common industrial automation communication protocols including Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET and serial equivalents
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or related fields.
- Candidate must reside in New Jersey
Salary Range: $36-$44hr DOE
