Lead QA Analyst - Software Implementation & UAT

Mortgage Cadence is a leading provider of cloud-based mortgage lending technology, helping banks, credit unions, and mortgage lenders streamline the entire loan origination process. Their Mortgage Cadence Platform (MCP) delivers end-to-end digital lending solutions with intelligent automation, workflow optimization, compliance tools, and configurable integrations designed to improve operational efficiency and enhance the borrower experience.

We’re looking for a Lead QA Analyst focused on UAT and implementation support, not traditional manual testing. This role owns end-to-end UAT planning and execution, coordinates offshore QA teams, and drives defect triage and resolution. The ideal candidate acts as a quality gate for business workflows, proactively identifies implementation risks, challenges incomplete or unclear testing evidence, and communicates go-live readiness clearly to stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong ownership of UAT strategy, cross-functional coordination, and release readiness decisions.

Core Responsibilities 

• Build and manage UAT test plans based on implementation scope, requirements, configuration, and business workflows. 

• Translate business requirements into clear test scenarios and expected outcomes. 

• Interact with our customers on their UAT testing needs. 

• Lead offshore QA resources by assigning daily priorities, reviewing execution, and validating test evidence. 

• Validate end-to-end implementation workflows, integrations, configuration, permissions, client-specific scenarios, and data setup. 

• Manage defect intake, triage, prioritization, retesting, and closure. 

• Communicate UAT status, open risks, blockers, and go-live readiness to project leadership. 

• Support production validation, post-release smoke testing, and lessons learned after implementation. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of software QA experience. 

• 3+ years as a QA Lead, UAT Lead, Implementation QA Lead, or Senior QA Analyst. 

• Experience overseeing or coordinating offshore QA teams. 

• Strong enterprise software and business workflow testing experience. 

• Strong defect management, triage, and risk communication skills. 

• Interact with our customers on their UAT testing needs. 

• Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, qTest, TestRail, or similar. 

• Mortgage, fintech, LOS, compliance, document, integration, or configuration testing experience is a strong plus
