Job Description

About the role: 
We are looking for a seasoned SharePoint Platform Architect with 10+ years of experience in architecting, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, including SharePoint Agents, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, along with exposure to building custom AI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

Qualifications

Main responsibility for this role: 

• Lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 platforms, including information architecture, security, permissions, and content lifecycle management.
• Design and deliver AI-driven knowledge management, enterprise search, and productivity solutions using SharePoint Agents, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
• Contribute to the development of custom AI solutions utilizing RAG frameworks, vector search technologies, and enterprise content repositories.
• Integrate SharePoint with Azure services such as Azure Functions, ADLS Gen2, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault, and other Azure-native components.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to enable reporting and insights through Power BI and enterprise data platforms.
• Define and manage SharePoint governance models, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), permissions, and compliance standards.
• Implement and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) B2B collaboration, guest access management, and identity governance frameworks.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for automated SharePoint site provisioning, custom schema deployments, SPFx solutions, and platform releases.
• Implement LaunchDarkly (or similar feature management platforms) to support controlled feature rollouts, experimentation, and release management.
• Provide technical leadership, establish architectural standards and best practices, and mentor development and engineering teams.

 
Job Skills/Requirements 

- 10+ years of experience in SharePoint architecture and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Graph
SharePoint Agents, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 Copilot
Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) 
LaunchDarkly or equivalent feature flag management solutions
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure AD B2B, RBAC, and Identity Governance
- Good exposure to:
Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and RAG-based AI implementation
Azure Functions, ADLS Gen2, Logic Apps, API Management, and Key Vault
Power BI integration and enterprise reporting solutions
- Strong stakeholder management, solution architecture, governance, and communication skills.
