Marketing Manager

Second Foundation is an international energy trading and asset management firm headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, with offices in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the US. Our team of 500 professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modelling.

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help connect Second Foundation’s innovation with the real world of energy — from solar and wind farms to batteries and gas-fired generation. You’ll strengthen how we present ourselves across markets, lead brand initiatives that tie together our growing portfolio, and ensure our story remains consistent as we expand globally.

What you would work on?

• Shape the Strategy: Define and implement marketing strategies that align with Second Foundation's mission, tailored to diverse target audiences—including asset owners, employees, and regulators—across multiple brands.
• Drive B2B Growth: Lead the marketing efforts for our flexibility services in Germany, Belgium or Japan, showcasing the value of our innovative solutions to key stakeholders in the energy market.
• Enhance Employer Branding: Collaborate on initiatives to attract the brightest minds across all our fields, from mathematics and analytics to operations and beyond, reinforcing Second Foundation as a top employer.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with marketing teams in SF subsidiaries and lead external agencies to ensure consistency and alignment with our overall branding approach.
• Innovate for Impact: Identify and execute creative ways to engage asset owners and other stakeholders, ensuring our marketing evolves with market needs and opportunities.

What makes you a great candidate?

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, with expertise in brand building, content creation, and PR in tech or B2B field (experience in energy is a plus).
• Hands-on marketer with a proven ability to build brands and manage strategies while being ready to create content, design landing pages, organize webinars, and more—you're not just a strategist but a doer.
• Skilled at prioritizing tasks and focusing on what brings the most value, with the ability to manage discussions across multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive and independent fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to conferences.
• Fluent in Czech and English.
• Based in Prague, CZ.
