Job Description
Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025;
Accept and conduct all testing assignments, issue testing results and ensure result accuracy;
Carry out tests according to international standards/client specific method;
Troubleshoot problems that arise during testing, seeking help from the manager if necessary;
Provide training to junior and senior staff/internal laboratory staff;
Maintain the operation of each testing team;
Take the lead to continually improve internal quality;
Involved in the selection and acceptance of new instruments and equipment, as well organize/conduct the acceptance of consumables.
Involved in operation, maintenance, calibration / verification, performance check, and/or intermediate check of equipment in textile testing lab;
Estimation of the measurement uncertainty (MU) of Textile Testing;
Finish other tasks assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum B.Sc./ bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
TRAINING
ISO/IEC 17025 requirement, Chemical Testing Training etc.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of measurement uncertainty estimation and application
Knowledge of method validation or verification
SKILLS
Good communication skills.
Able to manage the test instrument,(e.g. GC/MS, LC MS, HPLC DAD, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, UV-VIS etc.)
EXEPRIENCE
At least 5 years’ experience in Textile testing laboratory; Experience of Accreditation Body Audit is advantage
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Good command in written and spoken English and Bengali
OTHERS
Strong technical knowledge.
Analytical mind and logical thinking.
