IBMC is assisting a client in hiring a vital operational leader. Our client designs, manufactures, and supports enterprise-class IT and AI infrastructure systems — from GPU servers to data platforms — all built, secured, and supported in the UAE. Powering technological sovereignty and strategic enterprise initiatives, they are expanding their global footprint and establishing a new operational facility in Batam, Indonesia.

We are seeking a deeply objective, vigilant, and structured Quality Control Inspector to safeguard enterprise-grade production parameters. Based permanently on-site at our new facility in Batam, this role demands uncompromising focus on visual, physical, and operational compliance. Your goal is to run thorough inspection checkpoints across the assembly cycle using specialized equipment, ensuring no defective components advance down the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual & Functional Inspection: Conduct rigorous visual and functional inspections of assembled server racks, sub-assemblies, and foundational computing components.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize and calibrate advanced inspection equipment, including Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) tools and digital magnification systems.
  • Standards Enforcement: Cross-examine physical outputs against engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and strict regulatory standards.
  • Non-Conformance Tracking: Isolate defective batches, issue non-conformance reports, and trace process inconsistencies back to their floor origin.
  • Quality Training Growth: Actively engage in available structured certifications to master complex hardware quality acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate Degree (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Literacy: Practical experience using AOI systems, precision calipers, or other automated optical inspection instruments.
  • Analytical Eye: Exceptional eye for detail with the capacity to spot minute micro-defects or structural assembly deviations.
  • Mindset: Firm, objective, and process-driven with a commitment to maintaining elite enterprise-grade quality benchmarks.
  • Presence: Must be fully open to a permanent, on-site position located in Batam, Indonesia.

Nice-to-Haves / Bonus Points

  • Prior knowledge or certified exposure to the IPC-A-610 standard (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies). Note: Corporate standard training is available for the right candidate.
  • Experience within high-density infrastructure, telecommunication systems, or server manufacturing environments.
