Job Description

Your duties will be:

    1. Collaborate closely with various departments within the organization to ensure the accuracy of data, engaging effectively with both internal and external auditors
    2. Review payroll processes and procedures, implementing necessary changes while ensuring robust controls are established and adhered to.
    3. Oversee the month-end close process to ensure its completion is accurate and aligns with the group's established timelines and procedures.
    4. Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any associated concerns effectively and efficiently
    5. Verify timesheets to ensure compliance with current legislation and internal policies.
    6. Enter data into payroll databases and software systems, including medical leave, salary advances, bonuses, benefits, deductions, meal tickets, e.g.
    7. Conduct payroll calculations and prepare salary statements/reports in accordance with company procedures and local legislation.
    8. Manage the transmission of salary flyers and prepare the salary’s payment file.
    9. Preparation and transmission of files for salary garnishments.
    10. Prepare the accounting entries files related to the salaries calculation.
    11. Ensure verification and reconciliation of accounting accounts associated with monthly salary calculations, including salaries, advances, untaken holidays, bonuses, meal tickets, e.g.
    12. Prepare monthly/annual declarations, in compliance with applicable legislation, ensuring timely submission within legal deadlines.
    13. Prepare payroll taxes and verify the company's tax status for payment processing
    14. Regularly review tax and salary contribution calculations, addressing and correcting any discrepancies as needed.
    15. Carrying out the salary recalculation and drawing up rectifying declarations in the necessary situations
    16. Prepare documentation for recovering amounts from health and pension authorities
    17. Compile and produce various financial reports as required by business management.
    18. Collaborate with payroll system providers to address existing issues and explore opportunities for enhancements.
    19. Monitor updates in relevant legislation and coordinate necessary software upgrades.
    20. Archive monthly documentation related to salary calculations and generated statements.
    21. Maintain effective communication and relationships with relevant Romanian authorities

Qualifications

    1.    At least 5 years on a similar role in a dynamic environment;
    2.    Higher education completed ;
    3.    Advanced knowledge of labor code and any other low related;
    4.    Good knowledge of English;
    5.    Good level of computer skills: Ms Office, Outlook, Excel, Word;
    6.    Good experience in using the payroll’s systems, Charisma experience is an advantage;
    7.    High sense of responsibility, ability to work independently, attention to details and accuracy, proactive approach, commitment to delivering quality results;
    8.    Ability to follow and accurately perform group procedures amd work tasks;
    9.    Ability to work in a team, ability to communicate and relate.
