Job Description

Role Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and validation activities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios. 

• Design, document, and execute test cases and test plans. 

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. 

• Identify, document, and track defects. 

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders. 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support UAT activities. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field. 

• 3–6 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing. 

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. 

• Experience creating and executing test cases. 

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools. 

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience testing SaaS and web applications. 

• Experience with Postman for API testing. 

• Familiarity with SQL and database validation. 

• Exposure to mobile testing and automation concepts. 

Tools & Technologies 

• Jira, Zephyr, Xray 

• Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI 

• SQL databases 

Success Indicators 

• Deliver thorough validation of assigned features. 

• Reduce production defect leakage. 

• Maintain quality documentation and traceability. 

• Improve testing processes and collaboration.
