The Business Intelligence & Operations Solution (BIOS) team supports Malaysian Operations across two functions: the Business Intelligence arm delivers dashboards and analytics to surface insights that guide operational decisions, while the Operations Solution arm builds automation solutions and streamlines processes to drive efficiency.

Together, we equip the operations team with the tools and data they need to move faster and work smarter.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Team Lead of the Business Intelligence & Operations Solution team. This team builds the automation solutions that Malaysian Operations relies on to run efficiently. The solutions involve streamlining workflows and ensuring data flows seamlessly into the tools you build.

This role is based onsite at our Petaling Jaya office.

You will own end-to-end solution delivery: from scoping problems with stakeholders to seeing your solutions adopted in the field. You'll deepen your expertise across solution architecture, data engineering, and the application of AI tools to real operational challenges.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize Python to automate repetitive tasks and processes, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Use SQL to extract data from databases as required for processing and operational needs, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Document all operational processes, including design, development, and implementation phases.
• Create comprehensive user guides and technical documentation to support the deployment and maintenance of solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders within MY Operations to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing solutions.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

The Must-Haves

• You have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• You have at least 1 year of professional experience in Python programming, with the ability to build robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.
• You have working knowledge in SQL for data extraction and management.

The Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or any AI coding tool.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
