Unpaid Signature Wedding Assistant Intern

Position Overview

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative intern to support our Signature Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in event planning, design, vendor relations, and behind-the-scenes operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience working alongside our team to bring client events to life while learning the fundamentals of event management and design sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general administrative and organizational duties
• Research and identify potential vendors, rental companies, and event resources
• Support the Signature Services team with decor sourcing and design inspiration
• Help gather pricing, availability, and product information for event materials
• Maintain vendor databases and organize project files
• Assist with proposal preparation and client presentation materials
• Coordinate sample requests, product orders, and inventory tracking
• Conduct market research on event trends, decor elements, and industry best practices
• Support event preparation and logistics as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Interest in event planning, design, hospitality, or related fields
• Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn
• Experience with Canva, Pinterest, or design software is a plus

Internship Details

• Unpaid internship (20 hours per week).
• College credit available; we are happy to provide all required documentation and coordinate with your academic institution.
• Flexible schedule based on academic requirements and company needs.
• Fully remote. Opportunity for in-person training as well.
• Internship duration determined by academic program requirements.
