Senior Officer, Depositary

Job Description

THIS ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for managing complex depositary operations and reviewing work of junior officers. You will provide technical guidance and acts as a subject matter expert while independently handling sophisticated client requirements and complex transactions.  

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• You will review complex transactions you will drive regulatory compliance and manage key client relationships
• You will oversee cash monitoring processes and provide technical guidance
• You will review Officer's 1-3 work as well as constitutional documents
• You will oversee cash and safekeeping reconciliations and prepare complex reports
• You will manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with service providers
• You will ensure regulatory compliance and review complex documentation and handle critical issues

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Law/Economics preferred) with 3–4 years’ experience in depositary/custody, audit, or fund accounting.
• Strong background in Private Equity/Real Estate with solid knowledge of depositary operations, cash safekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions, cash monitoring, reconciliations, and review of constitutional and technical documentation.
• Experience in reviewing work and providing guidance to junior team members, with strong leadership and mentoring capability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report preparation skills, with high attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
