Sunshine, Community & Great Patient Care: Your next PT Opportunity in North Phoenix
Posted about 14 hours ago

Practice Somewhere You Want to Build a Life
Imagine finishing a great day of hands-on patient care and stepping outside into 300+ days of Arizona sunshine. World-class hiking, mountain biking, and weekend trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon are all within easy reach. That is life in North Phoenix, and it is the backdrop for this role.
Trailhead Physical Therapy sits in Deer Valley, one of Phoenix’s most livable neighborhoods. You are minutes from the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve with 9,600+ acres and 36 miles of trails in your backyard. Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, with over 225 miles of trails, is a short drive east. Sedona is 90 minutes away. Lake Pleasant for paddling and boating is 30 minutes out.
Your salary also goes a lot further here than in most markets. Deer Valley has a lower cost of living than comparable metro areas, with home prices that make ownership genuinely realistic. No coastal squeeze. Just sunshine, space, and room to build the life you want.
Therapists come to Phoenix for the lifestyle. They stay at Trailhead because of the clinical culture, the people, and the room to grow. This is a place where you can practice hands-on PT, take ownership of your patients and develop into a future clinic leader.
About Trailhead Physical Therapy
Trailhead is a physical therapist-owned outpatient practice. Clinic owner Chris Ellis, PT, DPT grew up in North Phoenix, trained at A.T. Still University, and built Trailhead around a single conviction: that clinicians who feel supported and trusted will produce the best outcomes for patients.
The team practices hands-on, evidence-based care including manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, IASTM, blood flow restriction, and spinal manipulation. Every patient gets a thorough evaluation and a plan built around their actual goals, not a protocol pulled off a shelf.
Patients consistently describe the clinic as the best PT experience they’ve had, praising the team’s depth of knowledge, the one-on-one attention, and the genuine investment in their recovery. That reputation is something the whole team takes pride in.
This is a place where you can practice the way you were trained to, without someone pressuring you to rush through visits or hit arbitrary productivity metrics. It is so much more than leg raises and ice packs.
