OutSystems Software Developer

Job Description

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. 
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions. 
• Develop integrations between OutSystems applications and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party services. 
• Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability through best development practices and code reviews. 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently. 
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. 

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development, including at least 1 year with OutSystems or another low-code platform. 
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, preferably with C# and .NET frameworks or a similar language  
• Strong understanding of low-code development concepts, application lifecycle management, and agile methodologies. 
• Experience with SQL, web services (REST/SOAP), and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

Nice to Have 

• OutSystems Certification (Reactive Web, Mobile, or Traditional Web Developer). 
• Knowledge and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles. 
• Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) 
• Familiarity with BDD testing frameworks. 
• Understanding of system architecture principles and experience applying them in development — such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), etc
