Get to Know The Team

Join the Strategy and Planning team at Grab - team that oversees and drive growth for both the GrabFood and GrabMart businesses in the Ex-Jabodetabek Territory. Working alongside Strategy, Product, Commercial and Operations, we act as a vanguard for our platform's reliability, competition and market analysis including competitiveness tracking, business model benchmarking, and translating insight that impacts Grab's business and customer every step of the way.

Get to Know the Role

Based in Jakarta, you will report to the GrabFood Manager, Strategy and Planning. You will take ownership of market intelligence reports or metrics and build insights based on those analysis and reports. Additionally, you will manage GrabMart marketplace such as pricing, consumer promotions and driver-partner incentives and platform reliability.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will analyze quantitative and qualitative competitors' strategies, products, pricing, and market activities to identify threats and opportunities using modern and traditional methods to collect it
• You will provide actionable insights to inform decisions, ensuring our business stays competitive in the market.
• You will analyze data to find gaps and blockers in GrabMart marketplace, and develop plans to address them.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Break down complex concepts by analyzing complex problems
• Min. Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business fields would be an added value
• 2+ years of experience in Market Intelligence, Consulting, Strategy, Economics, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and spreadsheet software, including Excel (experience with Google Sheets and App Script is an added value)
• Ability to manage and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously, delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality standards
• Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities, maintaining healthy working relationships even during disagreements
• Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English
