Automation Test Engineer – Playwright / Power Apps

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Dynamics 365, Middleware applications, Microsoft web applications, API and UI automation scenarios

• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright (.NET/Node.js).

• Execute automated test suites through Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Identify automation candidates and maintain automation backlog aligned to project priorities.

• Improve automation stability, reduce flaky tests, and optimize execution efficiency.

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and reporting dashboards.

• Collaborate with development and functional teams to improve testability and automation coverage.

• Maintain automation source code repositories and reusable libraries.

• Perform automation code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and quality gates.

• Generate automation execution reports, coverage metrics, and trend analysis.

• Support AI-assisted test generation and GitHub Copilot for Testing initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in automation testing.

• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Automation, UI and API automation, Test framework development, Regression automation

• Experience in automation strategy and scalable framework implementation.

• Expertise in Playwright (.NET or Node.js), Azure DevOps (ADO), Azure Pipelines, Git/GitHub, EasyRepro (preferred), Power Apps Test Studio (preferred)

• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong coding experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, C#, .NET ecosystem (preferred)

• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Good stakeholder communication and reporting skills.

• Experience with GitHub Copilot for Testing or AI-assisted automation.

• Exposure to D365 CE/F&O automation.

• Knowledge of accessibility automation and API testing frameworks.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

Experience :

• 6 - 8 years of experience
