Bring Game Worlds to Life Through Sound
At Gameloft, sound is more than background. Its creates emotion, immersion, and memorable gameplay experiences. We are looking for a Sound Design Intern who is excited to explore the world of game audio and contribute to creating engaging experiences for players around the world.
This internship offers hands-on experience in game audio production and the opportunity to work alongside experienced sound designers, composers, game designers, artists, and programmers throughout the development process.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Your Main Challenge
Support the Audio Team in creating, editing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality audio assets while learning how audio contributes to the overall player experience.
What It Means on a Daily Basis
• Assist in creating, editing, and processing sound effects and game audio assets
• Support audio implementation into game engines and development tools
• Organize and maintain audio libraries and project documentation
• Participate in audio testing, bug verification, and quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with designers, artists, programmers, and composers to support project needs
• Assist recording, editing, and preparing audio content when required
• Follow production pipelines, naming conventions, and documentation standards
WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE
Within your first 1–2 months, you will become familiar with our tools, workflow, and audio production pipeline while supporting ongoing project activities.
By the end of the internship, you are expected to independently handle assigned audio tasks, contribute to production deliverables, and demonstrate growth in both technical and creative audio skills.

You will work closely with the Audio Team while collaborating with:
• Audio Manager
• Sound Designers & Composers
Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Audio Production, Sound Design, Music Technology, Multimedia, Game Development, or related fields
• Basic knowledge of audio editing tools (Reaper, Pro Tools, Audition, Audacity, or similar DAWs)
• Understanding of sound design principles and audio workflows
• Passion for video games and interactive media
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, FMOD, Wwise, or scripting is a plus
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing audio or sound design work is highly encouraged
