We are looking for an experienced Accountant, with a strong background in General Accounting, to join our Finance Department and manage tax, reporting, and financial accounting functions.

• Calculation and submission of various tax declarations to the Tax Authorities (VAT, Intrastat, Intercompany transactions, Corporate Income Tax, Stamp Duty, Withholding Taxes etc.)
• Calculation and submission of recycling declarations.
• Responsible for the accurate calculation, review, and booking of all accounting provisions within the system.
• Contribute to "MY DATA" related activities, to ensure accurate and timely submission of data and perform regular reconciliations with the General Ledger.
• Participate in the preparation of the company’s financial statements
• Collaborate with external Auditors during the statutory audit process.
• Gather tax-related data and collaborate with auditors to ensure the timely issuance of the annual Tax Certificate
• Oversee and manage the Fixed Assets Register.
• Record payroll journal entries and perform reconciliations with the General Ledger
• Actively participate in the transition and implementation of the new SAP4H system.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics
• 6+ years of experience in a General Accounting role.
• Excellent knowledge of tax legislation of C’ category books
• Computer literacy with strong Excel knowledge
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Experience with the MY DATA platform
• Fluency in Greek & English
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Integrity, motivation, and a pro-active attitude
