This role will be based in Dublin, Ireland.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join LinkedIn Marketing Solutions within our Growth & Mid-Market Portfolio team. In this role, you will own and grow a sizeable portfolio of advertisers, helping clients achieve measurable marketing and business outcomes while growing long-term, sustainable revenue for LinkedIn.  

As a senior seller, you will operate with autonomy and strong commercial judgment. You will prioritize across a high-volume book, identify whitespace, build ambitious pursuit plans, and use data, customer insight, and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions expertise to drive value across both breadth and depth of the portfolio.  

You will be expected to act as a trusted marketing partner to customers, leading value-based conversations, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating customer objectives into always-on, full-funnel, multi-format strategies that improve performance and unlock incremental growth.  

What You’ll Do  

Drive Revenue, Portfolio Growth & Strategic Pitches  

  • Own and grow a portfolio of UKI advertisers, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly revenue targets and business KPIs.  
  • Identify, qualify, and convert expansion opportunities through optimization, upsell, cross-sell, and adoption of always-on, full-funnel strategies.  
  • Lead larger strategic pitches for priority customers while continuing to capture growth across the full book of business.  
  • Build an accurate view of risk, upside, and forecast confidence using CRM discipline, customer insight, and planning conversations.  

Act as a Trusted Marketing Partner  

  • Understand customers’ short- and medium-term business objectives and translate them into clear marketing strategies, success metrics, and campaign recommendations.  
  • Use insight-led storytelling to connect LinkedIn’s value proposition to the customer’s language, priorities, and buying motivators.  
  • Quantify the cost of inaction and build commitment by aligning recommendations to measurable business outcomes.  
  • Build rapport with key marketing stakeholders and decision makers, adapting communication style across seniority levels and channels.  

Lead Planning, Prioritization & Portfolio Execution  

  • Develop and execute pursuit plans that set clear ambition, account priorities, and win strategies across the book of business.  
  • Use customer segmentation, archetypes, tiering, account data, and market signals to balance scaled breadth with deeper engagement in complex, high-potential accounts.  
  • Ground plans in whitespace, industry dynamics, customer objectives, and known blockers; refine plans based on real-time performance and customer feedback.  
  • Prioritize effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining strong pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy.  

Apply LMS Solution & Optimization Expertise  

  • Organize and codify optimization techniques that improve customer performance, drive incremental revenue, and can be scaled across advertisers.  
  • Educate customers on LinkedIn Marketing Solutions best practices across objectives, formats, funnel stages, and measurement.  
  • Use campaign performance signals to proactively identify risk, opportunity, and next-best actions.  
  • Deploy a high-quality end-to-end customer experience across planning, activation, optimization, and measurement.  

Collaborate, Influence & Scale Best Practices  

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Solutions, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and leadership to accelerate customer value and revenue outcomes.  
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing insights that improve execution, product feedback loops, and long-term customer growth.  
  • Share scalable best practices, develop customer stories or examples, and mentor peers through coaching, onboarding, or knowledge sharing.  
  • Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team culture grounded in LinkedIn’s values, growth mindset, and continuous improvement.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles with internal or external stakeholder management experience  
  • 2+ years of media sales or digital marketing experience  
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales quota-carrying role  
  • Business fluency in English  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience working in or with the UKI market  
  • Ability to manage a sizable volume of clients and accounts  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment  
  • Experience connecting with customers, identifying their needs, and upselling and cross-selling solutions to them  
  • Knowledge of how internet Advertising Technology works and the ability to explain it in and drive return 
  • Ability is upselling / pitching for share of wallet 
  • Proven communication skills across multiple channels, including virtual meetings, phone, and email  
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage day-to-day tasks, pipeline, reporting, and follow-up  
  • Experience building rapport with key marketing stakeholders and decision makers  
  • Ability to activate and grow existing business
