Job Description
Specification of work task or Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Service Engineer with repair shop duties is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing equipment, machinery, or electronics - either directly on-site at machine or in the service room's workshop.
- Very hand on oriented person. Figuring out how to repair/overhaul parts of semiconductor final test machines and afterwards defining procedures how to repair
- Experience in mechanical repair and/or electronics repair is a must
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in supporting equipment like Work piece carrier, Trax, board, module and other relevant Equipment/Production.
- Identifying the root cause of supporting equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs, which may involve disassembling, replacing parts, and reassembling.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure supporting equipment runs smoothly and to identify potential problems.
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Ensuring all repairs and maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and procedures
- Recommending improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Support and train Technician in execution of repairing activities.
- Align changes with lead plant engineering
- Electrical buyoff for Equipment (MST-FCM)
- Arrange supplier to perform Automatic shelf System (E.g.: Modular/Kardex) service and maintenance together with spare part team.
- Providing technical assistance to other engineers, technicians, or users of the equipment only assign by Team Lead/Department head.
- Take care of spare parts and consumables which are not ordered under the standard spare part process with automatic reordering once stock limit reached
- Execute any other related duties aligned in Daily Leadership Routine and assigned by Team Leads/Department Head.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, etc.)
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 - 10 years of professional experience.
- Hands on experience and high interest in repairing is a must
- Mechanical, electrical and electronical skills
- Able to perform analysis, repairs on PCB, equipment
- Able to perform technical discussion together with equipment supplier and engineering
- Able to instruct operators
- Able to work in a team for transferring technical known how
- Able to understand the correlations quality, cost and delivery
- Readiness to reduce Co2 according to company target
- Able to determine cost saving and quality improvement potential in his area
