The Director of Luxury Lab Creator Program is one of the most distinctive leadership opportunities in Australian beauty marketing right now. Sitting within Wavemaker's Beauty Tech Labs and working in close partnership with L'Oréal Luxe's CMO and individual brand leads, this role has been created to design, launch, and lead Australia's most exclusive closed creator community, representing couture houses including Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Valentino, and Miu Miu. This is a genuine build role, where you will architect the program from the ground up, establishing operational infrastructure, creator vetting frameworks, and luxury execution standards before transitioning into full strategic and day-to-day leadership. Leading a team of two, you will hold complete commercial and strategic accountability for L'Oréal Luxe's creator advocacy, with a clear mandate to drive Share of Views, Share of Influence, and Share of Engagement across Australia. Success means a world-class, high-touch creator program that earns genuine brand love and long-term authority for some of the most iconic luxury beauty houses in the world.
- Designs and launches the Beauty Creator Club from the ground up, including operational workflows, tier structures, communication frameworks, fulfillment standards, and luxury brand guardrails, before stepping into full ongoing program leadership
- Leads a team of one Manager and one Analyst, setting ambitious and measurable performance targets and providing mentorship that develops capabilities across creator marketing, analytics, and luxury brand management
- Manages relationships with Australia's most elite professional makeup artists and prestige content creators, overseeing an annual activation calendar spanning 6+ major seedings and 12+ high-end events and workshops including YSL Masterclasses, Armani VIP Launches, and exclusive holiday events
- Partners with L'Oréal Luxe's CMO, brand and division leads, and fulfillment partner IVE to manage packaging, storage, distribution, and white-glove delivery tracking across all campaign activity
- Holds full commercial ownership of the Luxe division's creator budgets, covering resource allocation, margin management, and ROI reporting using tools including Traackr and Influencer AI
- Serves as the final sign-off on all creator briefs and client-facing post-campaign analyses, ensuring every output meets couture brand standards and ties results directly to strategic business objectives
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of experience leading luxury brand marketing, prestige beauty PR, or creator marketing strategy for luxury clients, with a demonstrated track record of designing and running high-touch creator or advocacy programs at a senior level
- An established and well-respected network within Australia's prestige beauty, professional makeup artistry, and talent agency communities, with the credibility to attract and retain elite creators to an invitation-only program
- A highly developed aesthetic sensibility and deep understanding of luxury brand codes, with the ability to distinguish couture-level storytelling from mass-market execution and enforce that standard consistently across a team and client base
- Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing influencer marketing or social media teams, with a track record of setting stretch targets, developing talent, and driving commercial accountability
- Strong commercial acumen with direct experience owning large-scale creator or influencer marketing budgets, including margin management and demonstrating ROI across paid integrations and premium gifting programs
- Proficiency across major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and influencer marketing tools such as Traackr, CreatorIQ, Tagger, or equivalent, with the ability to translate performance data into clear, strategic client-facing recommendations
- Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs, manage premium logistics, and maintain exacting brand standards across multiple simultaneous campaigns

- Direct experience building a creator program, loyalty program, or closed creator community from the ground up, including the operational architecture, technology stack, and vetting framework
- Existing senior-level relationships with Australia's leading talent agents and a respected reputation within the prestige MUA and beauty creator ecosystem
- Experience working directly with or on behalf of LVMH, Estée Lauder Companies, Shiseido, or Coty prestige beauty brands
