Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant 1 to join our accounting team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

• Process accounts payable transactions in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and properly classified
• verify invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reports, accruals, adjustments,  reconciliations and preparation of tracker.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable regulations
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve accounting issues and support business operations.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance related to AP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 0-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
