At Hipp, we’re building the operating system for ambulatory healthcare practices. Our platform unifies critical workflows -- Clinical Decision Support & Data Collection, Revenue Cycle Management, scheduling, and patient engagement -- into a single, intelligent system. With deeply integrated AI and real-time data sharing across modules, we help practices scale, streamline operations, and improve outcomes.
Design is core to how we build and differentiate Hipp. Our users work in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments: billing staff handling claims, operations teams managing scheduling, clinicians documenting care. They rely on software not just to complete tasks, but to avoid errors, reduce delays, and keep teams aligned. For us, good design means making complex workflows easy to follow, minimizing friction, and building interfaces that help people focus on what matters. It’s not ornamentation, it’s operational leverage.
If you’re motivated by turning messy, multi-step processes into clear, reliable flows, and want to shape product direction through design, you’ll have real impact here.
The Role
We’re looking for a Product Designer to drive key initiatives across our platform. You’ll be responsible for translating customer needs and business strategy into product features that delight users and deliver measurable impact. This is a high-leverage role working closely with founders, and across all functions.
What You’ll Do
Lead design for one or more product areas (e.g. billing tools, workflows, dashboards, AI-based automation)
Work directly with users to understand how they work and what slows them down
Collaborate with product and engineering to define problems, explore directions, and ship well-scoped solutions
Create flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that balance usability with flexibility
Build and maintain a design system as the product scales
Help establish design culture, standards, and process as the team grows
What We’re Looking For
4–8 years of experience designing digital products, ideally with some in B2B or complex workflows
Ability to simplify dense, technical workflows into interfaces that feel natural to use
Strong craft and a bias toward clean, functional design
Comfort working independently and with limited structure—you’re proactive and self-directed
Clear written communication and strong collaboration habits
Interest in building design into the core of how a company works—not just how a product looks
Nice to Haves
Experience in healthcare, financial tools, internal tools, or operations software
Familiarity with Figma, component-based design systems, and version control
Previous work on tools that involve permissions, notifications, tasks, or queues
Meet Hipp. The AI-powered platform that helps ABA professionals spend less time on operations and more time with patients.
