Job Description

This position will build, maintain, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, wallboard and other related items within the property.  

  • Maintain and repair all structures made of wood including cabinets, bed frames, doors, chairs chair, crown molding and furniture.  
  • Assess property needs and create products as required.  
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware.  
  • Frame out walls and set door frames.  
  • Participate in show and production fabrication as directed by the Chief Engineer or the Engineering Manager.  
  • Maintain a clean work environment and proper upkeep of all company tools.  
  • Comply with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  
  • Minimum of three years carpentry experience and or equivalent experience required.  
  • Experience as a Finished Carpenter preferred.  
  • Working knowledge of all tools commonly used in carpentry shop required.  
  • Ability to read and understand technical literature and blueprints required.  
  • Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required. 
  • Material Handling Equipment certification as required.
