Overview

We are hiring a Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst with hands-on experience in the U.S. mortgage (loan origination and/or servicing) domain. This role will support analytics, reporting, and data operations for mortgage portfolios, working closely with onshore teams and leveraging modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Mortgage Domain Analytics (Core Focus)

 

  • Work with U.S. mortgage datasets across loan origination and servicing lifecycle
  • Analyze and report on key metrics such as:
  • UPB (Unpaid Principal Balance) and loan-level roll-forwards
  • Delinquency buckets (30/60/90+) and default trends
  • Prepayments (CPR), payoffs, and servicing cash flows
  • Loan pipeline, lock, funding, and pull-through metrics
  • Support remittance, payment, escrow, and transaction-level reporting

Reporting & Dashboarding

 

  • Build and maintain dashboards using Sigma Computing, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports for servicing and origination teams
  • Automate recurring reporting workflows

SQL & Data Processing

 

  • Develop SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Snowflake
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation across multiple mortgage data sources
  • Support development of curated datasets for analytics and reporting

Data Reconciliation & Quality

 

  • Perform loan-level and portfolio-level reconciliation (e.g., UPB roll-forward validation, payment vs transaction matching)
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems (LOS, servicing, investor reporting)
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs

Collaboration & Delivery

 

  • Work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders (servicing ops, capital markets, reporting teams)
  • Translate business requirements into reports and dashboards
  • Deliver high-quality outputs within defined SLAs

Required Qualifications (Domain-Focused)

  • 3+ years of experience in the U.S. mortgage domain (mandatory):
  • Loan origination (LOS), OR
  • Loan servicing (payments, escrow, remittance, transactions), OR
  • Mortgage reporting/capital markets support
  • Strong understanding of mortgage lifecycle and key data elements (loan status, balances, payments, delinquency)
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong SQL experience (Microsoft SQL Server or similar)
  • Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse
  • Hands-on BI/reporting tools like Sigma Computing, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with servicing reconciliation, remittance reporting, or investor reporting
  • Exposure to MSR, NQM, RTL, or secondary market data
  • Familiarity with data pipelines or tools like dbt or Apache Airflow
  • Experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models
