On behalf of one of our clients, a fast-growing organisation headquartered in Paris, we are seeking an accomplished finance leader to assume full ownership of their Accounting, Billing, and Tax functions. This is a pivotal appointment ideally suited to a technically sharp finance professional who thrives both at a strategic level and in hands-on delivery. The successful candidate will join a close-knit leadership team and enjoy real influence over how processes are shaped, how talent is developed, and how financial integrity is upheld throughout the business. The role is based entirely on-site in central Paris.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal liaison for external auditors, tax authorities, and applicable regulatory bodies
  • Take charge of billing operations, ensuring that invoicing remains accurate, efficient, and consistent with commercial agreements
  • Oversee the full accounting function from start to finish, safeguarding accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to French GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Guide the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including the preparation and review of financial statements
  • Build and uphold strong internal controls and financial reporting frameworks
  • Handle every element of tax compliance and reporting, spanning corporate tax, VAT, and local levies, while engaging external advisors where needed
  • Keep a close watch on shifts in tax legislation and accounting standards so compliance remains proactive
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of accounting and billing specialists
  • Work alongside the CFO and wider leadership team to underpin budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Champion ongoing improvement across accounting systems and processes, spotting opportunities for automation and greater efficiency

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional qualification (CPA, CCA, DSCG, or equivalent) viewed favourably
  • High proficiency with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, or comparable systems
  • Substantial experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership position, preferably within a multi-entity or international setting
  • A track record of managing VAT compliance and corporate tax filings in France
  • Strong command of French accounting standards (Plan Comptable Général) and tax regulations
  • Proven success in leading and developing finance teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with transfer pricing principles
  • Experience gained within a regulated industry
  • A background in implementing or enhancing accounting systems and tools
  • Exposure to IFRS reporting alongside French GAAP
  • Previous experience working within or alongside a multinational group structure

Benefits

  • Base Salary: €80,000 to €105,000 gross per annum, commensurate with experience
  • Benefits: Mutuelle (complementary health insurance), Prévoyance (supplemental life and disability cover), meal vouchers (Tickets Restaurant), and participation/profit-sharing scheme where applicable under French law
  • Leave: 25 days paid annual leave (congés payés) in line with French statutory entitlements, plus RTT days applicable to the role

Responsable Finance & Comptabilité

Pour le compte de l'un de nos clients, une organisation en pleine expansion implantée à Paris, nous recherchons un(e) Responsable Comptabilité, Facturation & Fiscalité. Ce poste à fort impact offre l'occasion de piloter les fonctions financières essentielles, de fluidifier les processus et de soutenir la croissance de la structure au sein d'une équipe de direction soudée et collaborative. Poste basé à Paris, en présentiel à 100 %.

Principales responsabilités

  • Piloter les opérations de facturation et veiller au respect des obligations fiscales (IS, TVA, déclarations réglementaires)
  • Encadrer la comptabilité générale ainsi que les clôtures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles, dans le respect du PCG et des normes IFRS
  • Mener une veille réglementaire et comptable permanente
  • Assurer la fiabilité du reporting financier et la solidité des contrôles internes
  • Contribuer aux travaux de budget, de prévisions et de planification financière aux côtés du/de la DAF
  • Être le point de contact privilégié des auditeurs externes et des administrations fiscales
  • Accompagner et faire monter en compétence une équipe comptabilité et facturation
  • Optimiser les systèmes et processus comptables, en particulier par le biais de l'automatisation

Profil recherché

  • Maîtrise courante de l'anglais, aussi bien à l'écrit qu'à l'oral
  • Diplôme en Comptabilité, Finance ou domaine équivalent ; un titre tel que DEC, DSCG, CPA ou similaire constitue un atout
  • Bonne connaissance des normes IFRS
  • Expérience confirmée à un poste de direction comptable ou financière, idéalement dans un contexte international ou multi-entités
  • Maîtrise d'un ERP (SAP, Oracle, Sage ou équivalent)
  • Solide maîtrise du PCG, de la fiscalité française et des obligations en matière de TVA
  • Expérience avérée dans le management d'équipes financières

Rémunération & Avantages

  • Salaire : 80 000 € à 105 000 € brut annuel selon expérience.
