Job Description
- Take full ownership of budget allocation and outcomes for all Traditional and Digital Media Marketing activities across two flagship brands and four key European markets.
- Inspire and lead an international team of 5–6 dedicated professionals, spanning Junior to Senior levels, by delivering actionable feedback and fostering an environment of continuous growth and development.
- Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact, performance-driven brand marketing campaigns across TV, YouTube, Radio, and a variety of offline channels.
- Leverage your robust network within the media industry to uncover, secure, and activate the most effective offline marketing opportunities, accelerating customer acquisition and amplifying brand awareness for wirkaufendeinauto.de, its European sister brands, and Autohero.
- Elevate our brand media strategy by integrating data-driven insights, maximizing traffic generation, and advancing key brand KPIs through innovative and measurable approaches.
- Champion data-centric decision making by seamlessly connecting media performance metrics with core business data using state-of-the-art analytics tools and methodologies.
- Play a pivotal role in developing and implementing more sophisticated approaches to measurement and attribution, enabling deeper insights into the effectiveness of media investments and driving continuous optimization across all channels.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience designing, managing, and optimizing complex online and offline marketing campaigns, consistently delivering measurable growth in fast-paced environments.
- Proven leadership capabilities—including direct management and mentorship of diverse, high-performing marketing teams—are a strong plus. Known for fostering professional development, cultivating team engagement, and inspiring excellence.
- In-depth expertise in the French or German media markets—from hands-on media planning and buying to insightful analysis—with a solid appreciation for local cultural and regulatory nuances. Experience and fluency in French or German are a significant advantage, but not required.
- Advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with expert-level proficiency in Excel, and hands-on experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting campaign data using SQL, BigQuery, or similar tools.
- Mastery of advanced measurement and attribution methodologies (e.g., media mix modeling, causal uplift modeling, geo-split analysis, incrementality testing, experimentation) to accurately evaluate marketing impact and drive data-informed strategy.
- Demonstrated success in media planning for streaming and digital video platforms (such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, and YouTube), with an innovative mindset for leveraging evolving ecosystems to drive brand growth.
- Skilled in programmatic media buying with a deep understanding of data-driven audience targeting, bidding strategies, and cross-channel integrations.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities in English, with the ability to translate complex insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in French or German is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to build and manage agency and supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, budget management, and performance evaluation for maximum value.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the capacity to prioritize, delegate, and drive multiple high-impact campaigns simultaneously while ensuring top-quality outcomes.
- A champion of innovation and continuous improvement, eager to challenge the status quo, implement best practices, and energize teams around ambitious goals.
- Highly adaptable and proactive: skilled at anticipating market shifts, leading teams through uncertainty, and capitalizing on new opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with DV360 and/or Amazon Video Advertising platforms is a strong plus.
